I help individuals in overcoming feelings of shame and building the confidence to embrace their authentic selves

Through therapy, I guide clients in understanding how trauma has affected their emotional, mental, and physical well-being, empowering them to regain control and heal.

Life’s challenges can often feel overwhelming, heavy, or even insurmountable. Many who seek therapy feel trapped in recurring painful patterns, and perhaps you can relate. Maybe you struggle to find joy, feel unhappy in relationships, and aren't sure how to make meaningful changes. Stuck in negativity and constant misery, life can feel like it's simply too much to bear.

Together, we can work together to uncover the source of your trauma and explore how it influences your thoughts, behaviors, and relationships, working towards a more fulfilling life and healthier connections with others.

If the client chooses this approach, I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based method that helps individuals process trauma, reframe distressing memories, and reduce emotional intensity. EMDR facilitates healing by allowing the brain to process traumatic experiences in a healthier, more adaptive way.

“Trauma creates change you don’t choose. Healing is about creating change you do choose.”
— Michelle Rosenthal

Do You Feel Insecure, Stressed, Moody?

Do any of the following resonate with you?

You find it difficult to maintain relationships.

You find it difficult to trust others.

You experience unexplained mood swings.

You find yourself engaging in unhealthy habits.

You struggle with low self-esteem and you feel undeserving of love, success, and happiness.

You experience emotional numbness.

You experience being either overly attached or completely detached.

You feel like you lack motivation to do anything.

You feel dread, fear, strange thoughts, and a pounding heart.

If this resonates with you, know that you're not "crazy." Trauma can impact how you connect with family, friends, and partners, causing conflict, isolation, and emotional distance. While it may feel isolating, your experience is common, and it's okay to seek help. You deserve care, even if you don't believe you do. Trauma can make everyday stress feel overwhelming, but you deserve to take care of yourself.

Step Back And Focus On Healing

Therapy empowers you to overcome your challenges and move toward a more fulfilling life with less suffering, after uncovering the root of your problems and resolving past issues. I’ve helped clients heal from trauma by identifying its underlying causes, guiding them to recognize and challenge harmful thought patterns, reframe negative beliefs, and develop healthier coping strategies.

Through various therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, EMDR, and mindfulness practices, I help clients identify and challenge harmful thought patterns, reframe negative beliefs, and develop healthier coping strategies.

How Therapy Works

Therapy consists of 50-minute, one-on-one sessions that help you work through your concerns.

Here’s how it will work step-by-step:

1

First, I create a safe, compassionate environment where you can feel comfortable sharing your trauma and struggles without fear of judgment.

2

As I listen to your story, I’ll gain a deeper understanding of how trauma has shaped your life and the challenges you're facing. Together, we’ll create a personalized timeline to explore your experiences, uncover the root causes of your struggles, and see how trauma has impacted your thoughts and behaviors. Identifying these core issues will mark the start of your healing journey.

3

We’ll start by addressing immediate concerns, such as managing overwhelming emotions and navigating difficult life situations related to your trauma.

4

Together, we’ll explore your goals for therapy and your life, helping you gain clarity on what you want to achieve.

5

Keeping your unique goals at the forefront, we’ll develop a personalized plan to address the root causes of your trauma and guide you toward healing.

6

Throughout our sessions, you’ll begin making steady progress toward healing, building the resilience and tools you need to live a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Research shows that therapy can positively change your thinking, beliefs, emotions, and behaviors. It can help you let go of what’s holding you back.
